Whether you’re an athlete in the making or performing at the professional level, Shockwave Fitness and Performance has an athletic development program to meet your needs.

Under close supervision of a Master Certified Coach, our athletes focus on functionally sound-movement training, speed, explosive power, strength, conditioning, nutrition education and most importantly, injury prevention protocols. We focus on good technique and proper movement to meet the athlete’s individual goals, and increase the difficulty level once basic techniques have been mastered. We’re not just training athletes for a season- we’re developing for an entire career.

Athletic Development programs are available for individuals, small groups, teams, and the following skill levels:

  • Youth Athletic Development Program – 1 & 2 X weekly / 45 minute sessions - (Coming Soon) Ages 7-10
    Shockwave’s youth training program helps children prepare for future fitness and athletic endeavors by focusing on movement discovery and age appropriate skill development; Bodyweight Mastery (balance, coordination, posture, squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull, etc…), First Step Quickness and Breakaway Speed, Change of Direction, Injury Prevention Protocol Development (flexibility/mobility), and much more! Lastly, there’s the Fun Factor! Our youth programs offer the perfect balance between fitness and fun and will have your child excited to attend each and every training session.

  • Middle School Athletic Development Program – 1 & 2 X weekly / 75 minute sessions
    Our Middle School Athletic Development Program is geared toward middle school athletes from 6th to 8th grade wanting to take their speed, strength, conditioning, and sports performance skills to the next level. This program starts with the Bodyweight Mastery Skills (balance, coordination, posture, squat lunge, hinge, push, pull, etc) before progressing into more advanced movement patterns that challenge and create new levels of fitness that are appropriate at this stage of the growth and development process. Also, student athletes will focus on and progress through multiple levels of Movement Development Skills; Athletic Positioning, First Step Quickness and Breakaway Speed, Multi-Directional Speed and agility, Change of Direction, Jumping and Landing Mechanics, Conditioning and Recovery Techniques, Injury Prevention, Mobility and Flexibility, and Nutrition Education. As with all our youth programs, These session are filled with tons of fun, support, motivation, and encouragement!

  • High School Athletic Development Program – 2, 3, 4 X weekly / 90 min sessions
    Shockwave’s High School Athletic Development Program was designed for one reason and one reason only, to develop GREAT ATHLETES! This program offers the best of Shockwave Fitness and Performance developmental resources; Strength, Power, Speed, Acceleration (first step quickness and breakaway speed), Deceleration, Multi-Directional Speed and agility, Athletic Positioning and Explosiveness, Change of Direction, Jumping and Landing Mechanics, Conditioning and Recovery techniques, Mental Toughness and Problem Solving, Injury Prevention, Mobility and Flexibility, Nutrition Education, and much more!!! All new athletes must complete the athletic assessment prior to training in order for the program to be individualized to the needs of the athlete….

  • Collegiate Training
    At the collegiate level, Shockwave’s athletic development program is designed to make our athletes well-rounded. We reassess abilities, improve upon weaknesses, and provide new skill where the athlete is lacking. We continue to build speed, strength, agility, explosive power and injury prevention/mobility to reach maximum potential.

  • Pro Athletes
    Even at the professional level, there is still room for improvement. Your personal goals will determine our focus, and we’ll supplement your customized program with training to increase speed, strength, mobility and motor patterns. Our goal is to reduce injury, elongate your career and help you perform at a level you never thought was possible.
